Sending Missing Documents to AIMA

Missing documents may be sent online

AIMA announced a dedicated Contact Form workflow for sending missing documents relating to residence-authorisation processes already initiated with AIMA.

Use the correct process number

The applicant needs the reference or process number shown on the receipt for the residence application so that the additional documents can be linked to the correct file.

Follow the notification

If AIMA has requested a specific document, follow the wording of that request. Submit the exact missing evidence rather than unrelated material.

Current file limits

AIMA’s February 2026 notice stated that each file submitted through the relevant Contact Form workflow could be up to 10 MB and that applicants should submit between three and five files. Digital procedures can change, so the current form instructions should always be checked before uploading.

Not every AIMA process uses the same channel

The missing-document form is not necessarily applicable to processes managed through other dedicated AIMA platforms or portals. Use the channel specified for the process concerned.

Keep confirmation

Save evidence showing that the documents were submitted successfully, including the date, confirmation message and copies of the files sent.
